Masvertex Studios ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to absolute transparency regarding your digital privacy. This Privacy Policy details how the SyncScholar mobile application ("App") collects, caches, transmits, and protects your data.
We practice strict Data Minimization. We only collect the telemetry required to make the App function.
1.1 Account Authentication Data: When you register, we securely collect your provided Email Address, Username, and an encrypted hash of your Password. 1.2 User-Generated Content (UGC): We store the academic materials you explicitly publish to the Academic Forum (posts, research titles, survey hyperlinks, comments, and replies). 1.3 Study & Interface Metrics: We store your micro-learning progress (completed section integers), saved digital book bookmarks, and custom UI preferences (primary theme hex codes).
SyncScholar does not deploy covert background analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics). We do not record your screen taps, track your mouse vectors, log your session durations, or monitor your web activity outside of the App. Your study habits remain your own business.
When you utilize "Guest Mode," the App writes localized, non-sensitive session strings directly to your hardware's encrypted storage (e.g., via AsyncStorage). This data never touches our cloud servers. Clearing your device cache or uninstalling the App permanently destroys this localized data.
To maintain cloud infrastructure and support free micro-learning access, we route specific, encrypted data packets through verified enterprise partners:
4.1 Cloud Infrastructure (Supabase): Your account data and UGC are stored on secure PostgreSQL databases hosted by Supabase. Supabase acts strictly as a data custodian and is barred from utilizing your data for independent commercial purposes. 4.2 Subscription Gateway (RevenueCat): When you purchase SyncScholar Pro, receipt validation tokens are securely passed to RevenueCat to unlock your premium interface tiers. RevenueCat never receives your raw credit card numbers. 4.3 Personalized Advertising (Google AdMob): To provide free users with high-tier content, we partner with Google AdMob. AdMob collects mobile device identifiers, specifically your Android Advertising ID (AAID) or Apple IDFA, along with approximate magnitudinal location data, to serve interest-based, personalized advertisements.
4.4 Artificial Intelligence Integrations (OpenRouter / Anthropic): To power our Quizlet and flashcard generation features, the specific text or prompts you submit for generation are securely transmitted to third-party AI providers via OpenRouter (including Anthropic models). This data is strictly used for the real-time generation of your requested study materials. Your personal account identifiers (like your email) are never attached to these API requests, and our API partners are restricted from using your prompts to train their public AI models.
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and international privacy baselines, you retain absolute authority over your digital footprint:
