Welcome to SyncScholar. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SyncScholar mobile application, databases, and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing the Service as a guest, or utilizing our APIs, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

  1. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & GUEST PASSPORTS 1.1 Account Integrity: To utilize the full features of SyncScholar (including the Academic Forum and Cloud Sync), you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate information and are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials. 1.2 Guest Mode Volatility: SyncScholar offers a "Guest Mode" for limited platform access. You acknowledge that Guest Mode relies entirely on localized device caching. Masvertex Studios cannot restore, sync, or recover data, reading progress, or settings from a Guest session if the application cache is cleared or the App is uninstalled.

  2. ACCEPTABLE USE & ACADEMIC INTEGRITY SyncScholar is an educational ecosystem built for micro-learning, peer networking, and research pooling. You agree not to misuse the Service. Specifically, you shall not:

Utilize the platform to facilitate academic dishonesty, including the distribution of illicit answer keys or plagiarized material.

Deploy automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to extract database payloads, modules, or user data.

Attempt to reverse-engineer the application, bypass API rate limits, or disrupt server infrastructure.

Impersonate other scholars, educators, or administrative personnel from Masvertex Studios.

  1. ACCOUNT TERMINATION & CASCADING DATA ERADICATION 3.1 Voluntary Deletion: You possess the sovereign right to delete your account at any time via the in-app settings. You explicitly acknowledge that initiating account deletion triggers an irreversible Cascading Data Eradication. Your profile, along with every forum post, comment, saved resource, and reading metric associated with your account, will be permanently vaporized from our servers. This action cannot be undone. 3.2 Administrative Termination: Masvertex Studios reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service without notice if we determine, at our sole operational discretion, that you have violated these Terms, the EULA, or our Community Guidelines.

  2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (IP) 4.1 Masvertex Studios IP: All software architecture, UI/UX designs, graphical assets, branding, and micro-learning modules provided natively by the App are the exclusive property of Masvertex Studios. You may not copy, redistribute, or monetize our systemic assets. 4.2 User-Generated Content (UGC): You retain ownership of the original text you publish to the Academic Forum. However, you grant Masvertex Studios a perpetual, global, royalty-free license to host, parse, and display your UGC within the operational framework of the App.

  3. SUBSCRIPTIONS, PRO TIER & BILLING 5.1 Service Upgrades: SyncScholar offers an optional "Pro" tier via auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock advanced AI token generation and unrestricted library access. 5.2 Billing Platform: Payments are securely processed via third-party digital storefronts (Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or RevenueCat). Masvertex Studios does not directly handle or store your raw credit card telemetry. 5.3 Absolute Sales Finality: All digital purchases, subscriptions, and AI credit distributions are strictly non-refundable. Prorated refunds for partially utilized billing cycles will not be issued. Cancellation of future renewals must be managed directly through your device’s native OS subscription settings prior to the rollover date.

  4. SERVICE MODIFICATION & LATENCY We are constantly upgrading SyncScholar. We reserve the right to modify, throttle, or discontinue any feature, module, or AI integration at any time without prior liability. Masvertex Studios does not guarantee 100% server uptime and shall not be held liable for study disruptions caused by network latency or database maintenance.

  5. GOVERNING LAW These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any operational disputes or legal claims shall be resolved exclusively in the applicable courts of this jurisdiction.
